- 183+ days in Paraguay
- center of vital interests / economic interests in Paraguay
- legal immigration residency + cédula + RUC registration
A foreign individual can obtain residence mainly by first getting a 2‑year temporary residence (showing standard civil and police documents) and then converting to permanent residence, or by making a qualifying investment from about USD 40,000 that grants permanent residence from day one.
